DESCRIPTION:Live Online Mindful Self-Compassion for Therapists\nFacilitated by: Dr. Shari Geller & Camilla Graziani \nOctober 7 – December 16\, 2026 \nWednesdays from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM (ET) | 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM (PT) \nLocation: Live Online via Zoom \nHosted by: Center for Mindful Self-Compassion \nWhat to Expect \nThis is the same 10-week LOMSC program course covering 95% of the typical MSC content. This course includes weekly sessions of 2 hours each\, in addition to the 3-hour retreat. \nWhat’s different? You’ll join a cohort made up entirely of mental health professionals. The shared professional understanding enhances dialogue\, reflection\, and application in ways that enrich both personal well-being and clinical practice. \nThis workshop is suitable for everyone\, including the general public\, mental health and healthcare professionals\, meditation and mindfulness instructors\, yoga teachers\, wellness coaches\, and educators at all levels. Prerequisites Needed: None\, all are welcome to attend. \nIf you’re finding this course less than 3 weeks before the start date\, join CMSC for an introductory information session about Live Online Mindful Self-Compassion (LOMSC) introducing you to the concepts covered in the class\, the online format\, and Q & A. She is a leading figure in the field of therapeutic presence. With over 30 years of experience weaving psychology and mindfulness\, she has several publications including “Therapeutic Presence: A Mindful Approach to Effective Therapeutic Relationships” (2nd Edition\, 2022) with Leslie Greenberg and “A Practical Guide to Cultivating Therapeutic Presence” (2017). Shari is co-editor of the “Self-Compassion in Psychotherapy: A Clinical Handbook” and founded the Therapeutic Rhythm and Mindfulness Program (TRM™). She teaches at York University and is the co-director of the Centre for MindBody Health in Toronto. Shari is actively involved in various professional committees and offers training internationally. \nJoining Dr. Geller will be assistant MSC teacher Camilla Graziani (she/her). Camillia is a Registered Psychotherapist and is a trained teacher of MSC. She is also a Practicing Self-Compassion Therapist (Level A: Core Training – SCIP Learning Cohort (SCIP-LC). \nAs an Emotion-Focused (EFT) therapist working with individuals and couples/intimate partners\, Camilla draws from Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT)\, Mindfulness and Self-Compassion Based approaches\, trauma-informed\, and neurodiversity- affirming frameworks\, and from a sex positive\, pleasure and connection-focused model for sexual concerns and well-being. \nREGISTER HERE
