Dr. Adam Iskric is a clinical psychologist in supervised practice with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. He completed his Ph.D. in clinical psychology at Hofstra University in New York. Adam provides ongoing therapy with older adolescents and adults. He specializes in mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, borderline personality disorder, suicide/self-harm, emotion dysregulation, work stress, life transitions, and relationship difficulties.
Adam has extensive experience with DBT, CBT, ACT and trauma-focused therapies. His experience includes the provision of individual, parenting, and group therapies across various hospital, community center, and private practice settings. He has also conducted research on mood disorders, psychological pain, dialectical behavior therapy, and suicide/self-harm.
Adam strives to foster a non-judgmental and compassionate environment through his emphasis on listening with the intent to understand the unique problems faced by his clients. He also prioritizes collaborative goal-setting to help clients and their families build happy and meaningful lives. In his free time, Adam enjoys playing soccer, tennis, board games, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
