Clinical Psychologist
She / Her

VIRTUAL & IN PERSON

Dr. Nicole Dignard completed her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the University of Windsor and then completed her pre-doctoral residency at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) with a focus on emotion regulation and trauma. She specializes in the assessment and treatment of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), borderline personality disorder (BPD), and eating disorders, as well as associated conditions such as substance use, depression, and anxiety. Nicole has a long-standing interest in eating disorders and embodiment, loves working with emotions, and strives to create a space in which all bodies and brains feel safe. Her training encompasses a range of evidence-based modalities including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and psychodynamic psychotherapy, as well as adaptations of these for complex trauma and eating disorders.

Rather than adopt a one-size-fits-all approach, Nicole starts treatment by getting to know the unique person in front of her. She works collaboratively with her clients to develop a personalized path to wellness. Nicole has deep compassion for the pain that sometimes comes with change and has been known to do a happy dance to celebrate client growth. She believes that treatment should be about more than easing symptoms because life is about more than surviving. Nicole works with clients to equip them with the skills and insights they need to live a fulfilling life.
